DAY ONE Of ASAP BATCH I @ ST JOSEPH'S

The ASAP Programme @ St. Joseph's College started on a very positive note, with showers of blessings descending in abundance upon all the participants and those behind the curtains.  The short Inaugural Programme began soon after the registration of the participants.  It began with the prayer song by Oshein Martin. Dr. Sheena George, HoD of the English Department proffered the welcome.  Rev. Sr. Philo Puthenpura, the Manager of the college, inaugurated the ASAP programme and delivered the inaugural address.  She urged the students to make the best of the opportunity that they had received and in the course of the programme also to imbibe the best values that St. Joseph's stands for.  She lauded the very novel scheme that the Government of Kerala had initiated under the aegis of the Higher Education Department.  Mr. Kushalakumar, Vice President of PTA and Mr. Anup Kumar, Programme Manager of ASAP offered felicitations to the project. Dr. Sandhya Pai and Ms. Anjali George were the MCs.

The classes commenced with the Introductory session to ASAP by Dr. Sandhya P. Pai, the Course Co-ordinator of ASAP @ St. Joseph's College.  This was followed by interactive sessions on various modules by Dr. Sheena George, Ms. Anjali George, Ms. Sharon D' Cunha and Dr. Sandhya Pai.  The good quality food that was served, which is indeed a fine feature of ASAP anywhere, was greatly appreciated by the ASAPians.  Day One ended on a note of great satisfaction of a day well done.
